THE CUT

Use a sharp guillotine cutter and remove approximately 2–3 mm from the cap. Make a clean cut for a smooth and consistent draw.

THE LIGHT

Use a butane lighter, cedar spill, or wooden match. Gently toast the foot while rotating the cigar until it is evenly lit.

THE DRAW

Take slow, relaxed draws every 30–45 seconds. Allow the Grand Cru No. 5 to develop naturally through its cedar, cream, toasted nut, and gentle spice notes.

THE ASH

Allow the ash to develop naturally before gently tapping it away. Avoid excessive tapping to maintain an even burn.

IDEAL CONDITIONS
○ Humidity: 65 – 70% relative humidity
○ Temperature: 16 – 18°C (60 – 65°F)

Too dry — the cigar will crack, lose aroma, and burn unevenly.
Too humid — the cigar may develop mold and become difficult to draw.

USE A HUMIDOR
A Spanish cedar humidor is the gold standard for cigar storage. Cedar naturally regulates moisture and imparts a subtle aroma that enhances the complexity of your cigars over time.

IN INDONESIA’S TROPICAL CLIMATE
Indonesia’s heat and humidity require extra care. We strongly recommend:
○ Storing cigars in a properly seasoned cedar humidor
○ Placing your humidor in an air-conditioned room
○ Using a calibrated hygrometer to monitor humidity levels consistently

WHAT TO AVOID
○ Do not store cigars in the refrigerator without a proper humidification system
○ Keep away from strong odors — tobacco absorbs surrounding scents easily
○ Avoid direct sunlight and heat sources
○ Never store in sealed plastic bags for extended periods

REST YOUR CIGARS
If your cigars have just been delivered, allow them to rest in your humidor for at least 48 – 72 hours before smoking. This allows them to acclimate to their new environment and reach optimal condition.
